国際水協会（IWA）の出版部門IWA Publishingが、英・Jiscとの間で2020年から2年間の”Read & Publish”契約を締結したことを発表しました。
IWA Publishingは17の査読誌を刊行するIWAの完全子会社です。今回締結した契約により、Jisc参加機関に所属する研究者は、所属機関のメールアドレスを用い、所属機関を明記している限り、自動的にAPCを免除されます。
IWA Publishingの発表では、同社は積極的に完全OAへの移行を模索していくつもりであり、今回の契約はOA出版の持続可能なモデルを実現する大きな一歩であるとされています。
