2016年11月1日、スコットランド国立図書館（NLS）は、エディンバラ大学と、研究や教育、リソースへのアクセス強化に関する3年間の連携について、覚書を締結します。
既存の連携を正式のものとするもので、学生支援のためのデータ共有は、この連携の枠組みで想定されている成果の1つであるとのことです。
