2026年7月2日、英・図書館情報専門家協会（CILIP）が、公共図書館における新たな人材戦略を公表しました。
アーツ・カウンシル・イングランド（Arts Council England）等の機関・団体と共同で策定したもので、公共図書館が直面する多くの課題に対応するため、倫理と専門能力開発を最優先事項として位置づけているとあります。
