2025年9月15日、フランス・文化省が、地方図書館（地方公共団体が設置する公立図書館）に求められる能力についてまとめた“Le référentiel national des compétences des bibliothèques territoriales”の2025年版を公表しました。
先の2022年版を、現場からのフィードバック等を踏まえて改訂し、充実を図ったもので、地方図書館に必要な能力の全体像を示すとともに、各地域の状況に応じて柔軟に活用できるツールとなっているとされます。
2025年版には、新たな能力領域、見直し・更新された能力のリスト、活用を支援する多数のツールが含まれているとあります。
