2014年9月26日、米国議会図書館（LC）は、2012年9月から”ベータ版”として公開してきた立法情報提供システムCongress.govを正式版としたと発表しています。
併せて、議会に関する情報源のアルファベット順のリンク集と公聴会の動画のコンテンツを新たに公開し、詳細検索およびブラウジングの機能改善を行ったとのことです。
URLからも“beta”の文字を削除したとのことで、“beta”の入った古いURLから新しいURLにリダイレクトの設定がされているようです。
