2026年1月14日、米国の14州とワシントンD.Cの図書館関係者による、危機への備えを研究・実践するプロジェクト“Ready NOW”が、危機時に地域社会を支援するための図書館向け実践ガイド“Centering Community: Library Staff Responding to Crisis – A Field Guide”を公開しました。
新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）拡大時の2021年に作成されたガイドの更新版です。パンデミック、自然災害など、地域社会の緊急事態に備える図書館を支援するためのもので、様々な規模の危機の発生前、発生中、発生後における実践的な戦略や事例が紹介されています。
