2014年7月11日、米国のジョンズホプキンス大学Sheridan図書館、プリンストン大学図書館及び英国University College LondonのCentre for Editing Lives and Letters (CELL) が、共同で実施する調査研究 “The Archaeology of Reading in Early Modern Europe”に対して、アンドリュー・メロン財団から488,000ドルの助成金を獲得したことを発表しました。この調査研究は、初期に印刷された資料に残された手書きの注記を介して、歴史的な読書行動を調べるデジタル人文学プロジェクトとのことです。
