2014年3月25日、OCLCの研究開発部門であるOCLC Researchが、”Right-scaling Stewardship: A Multi-scale Perspective on Cooperative Print Management”と題するレポートを公表しました。大学図書館（オハイオ州立大学図書館）とコンソーシアム（the Committee on Institutional Cooperation: CIC）のそれぞれの観点から地域レベルの紙媒体資料の共同管理について考察し、適切な資料管理の規模について検討しているとのことです。
