トムソン・ロイター社のプラットフォーム“Web of Knowledge”が、2014年1月より、名称を「Web of Science」として、インターフェースをリニューアルしました。また、今までの電子ジャーナルデータベース“Web of Science”（Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts & Humanities Citation Index等）は、新生「Web of Science」の中核的な位置づけのコレクション「Web of Science Core Collection」となったとのことです。
