2013年9月9日、EIFLの公共図書館イノベーションプログラム（EIFL-PLIP）が、6番目のイノベーションアワードの実施をアナウンスしています。今回の賞は、公共図書館におけるICTの創造的な利用とのことで、応募は2013年10月30日までとなっています。
なお過去の5つの賞は、以下のとおりです。
・地域の経済的福祉への貢献（Contribution to economic wellbeing of the community）
・地域の健康への貢献（Contribution to community health）
・地域の社会的包摂への貢献（Contribution to social inclusion of the community）
・オープンガバメントへの貢献（Contribution to open government）
・女性や少女に力を与えるICTの利用（Using ICT to empower women and girls）
