2025年1月30日、スコットランド国立図書館（NLS）が、創立100周年記念イベントの予定やロゴの刷新等を発表しました。
NLSは1925年に設立され、2025年で100周年を迎えます。これを記念し、同館では1年間にわたりイベントが開催されます。また、3月末にかけて、「次章」（The Next Chapter）と称される同館の2025年から2030年までの戦略に関する議論が行われ、9月に正式公開される予定とあります。
100周年を迎えるに当たり、同館のロゴも刷新されました。そのほか、全ての人にとっての読みやすさを向上させるため、弱視者が読みやすいよう開発されたフォントAtkinson Hyperlegibleを同館が主に使用するフォントとして採用したことも紹介されています。
