チャールズ・ダーウィンの手紙をテキスト化して公開している“Darwin Correspondence Project”が、ケンブリッジ大学図書館が所蔵する、ダーウィンの娘・ヘンリエッタの日記を初めて公開しました。ダーウィンの執筆を助けた彼の家族の中でもヘンリエッタはおそらく最も信頼された人物で、1871年に出版された『人間の進化と性淘汰』の編集に関わった主要人物とされています。
