2010年10月21日、カナダ国立図書館・文書館（LAC）は、カナダ政府の記録管理とアーカイブ機能における、Web2.0の利用とその影響をまとめた資料を公開しています。公開された資料は、“Web 2.0 and Recordkeeping: context and principles”、“Re-examining the Foundations of Information Management in a Web 2.0 World”、“Impacts of Web 2.0 on Information Models: Life Cycle and Continuums”、“Managing Business Value in Web 2.0 Environments”の4つです。これら資料の公開は、デジタル情報の保存方法に関する議論をスタートさせることが目的のようで、カナダ政府機関の職員等に対して資料への意見を求めています。
