米国議会図書館（LC）を中心に進められているWorld Digital Library構想に、米国国立公文書館（NARA）が加わると発表されています。NARAは構想の創設メンバーとなり、米国独立宣言、憲法、権利章典、奴隷解放宣言、南北戦争時の写真など、多くの歴史資料を提供するとのことです。これらのコンテンツは現在、NARAのウェブサイトで見られます。
