2018年2月26日でイラン国立図書館・公文書館が開館80周年を迎えました。記念式典には国際図書館連盟（IFLA）会長のGlòria Pérez-Salmerón氏も参加し、スピーチを行いました。IFLA会長が同館を訪れるのは初とのことです。
