米国議会図書館（LC）では、教師を支援するため、同館の資料を用いた授業用の教材を作成し、ウェブサイトで公開していますが、2016年11月8日の選挙の日にあわせ、選挙に関する教材“Election… the American Way”を更新したと発表しています。
同教材では、大統領の選出過程、選挙権の拡大過程、過去の選挙キャンペーンでのテーマなどが学べるようになっています。
