2014年2月5日、米国議会図書館（LC）が、米国の作曲家や詩人、演奏家等による作品から米国の歴史を調査できるオンラインコレクション“Songs of America”を公開したことを発表しました。80,000 件以上のデジタル化された音声記録、ビデオ、楽譜等を含む資料、作曲や録音等が行われた州を示す地図、歴史年表等が閲覧できるとのことです。
