米国の大学・研究図書館協会（ACRL）が刊行する“College & Research Libraries News”の2026年6月号に、記事“2026 Top Trends in Academic Libraries: A Review of the Trends and Issues”が掲載されています。
ACRLの研究計画審査委員会（Research Planning and Review Committee）により作成されたもので、大学・研究図書館における過去2年分のトレンドがまとめられています。「連邦及び州の立法措置への対応」「予算削減、事業・機関の廃止」等、新たに直面している八つの課題が取り上げられています。
