2014年の米国図書館協会（ALA）の年次大会が6月26日から7月1日にかけてラスベガスで開催されましたが、その参加者数等が発表されています。
それによると、参加者の合計は、18,626名（うち出展者は5,607名）であったとのことです。2013年のシカゴ大会では26,362名の参加があり、これよりも7,000人以上少ない数となっています。
