2025年10月27日、IFLA図書館協会運営分科会（Management of Library Associations Section：MLAS）は、「IFLA戦略2024-2029」及び「IFLA創設100周年」に合わせ、2025年から2027年までの優先分野とワーキンググループの設置を発表しました。
多様な未来の形成に向けた世界中の図書館協会の活動を支援するため、次の三つの優先分野を設定し、専門のワーキンググループを設置したとあります。
・図書館協会の財政的持続可能性
・図書館協会への会員登録：会員の募集、維持、関与
・図書館協会のマーケティングとコミュニケーション（認知度向上）
