ブッシュ大統領図書館が、ブッシュ前大統領退任から5年が経過したことにより、情報自由法（Freedom of Information Act：FOIA）が適用され、2014年1月20日から前大統領文書の情報開示請求の受け付けを開始することを発表しました。
