2024年6月20日、Clarivate社は、学術誌評価分析データベース“Journal Citation Reports”（JCR）2024年版のリリースを発表しました。
2024年版では、254の研究分野、113か国の学術雑誌2万1,800誌以上の情報を収録しています。収録誌のうち、完全オープンアクセス（OA）誌は5,800誌以上となり、また、544誌に初めてジャーナル・インパクトファクターが付与されました。
前年版からの主な変更点として、自然科学分野のScience Citation Index Expandedや社会科学分野のSocial Science Citation Indexといったエディションごとの区分けを廃止して、研究分野ごとのランキング表示のみに切り替えたこと、新興領域のジャーナル等も対象とするEmerging Sources Citation Index（ESCI）収録のジャーナルがランキングに追加されたことが挙げられています。
