OCLCの総合目録WorldCatに、英文の難易度やリーディング能力を表すレクサイル指数（Lexile Measure）を書誌詳細画面に表示する機能が追加されました。12.5万点の資料が表示対象となっています。レクサイル指数は、米国のMetaMetrics社が開発したもので、200Lから1700Lまでの数字（末尾に“L”がつく）で表されます。自分のリーディング能力のスコアから-100L～+50Lの範囲内にある英文を読むことが能力向上に効果的とされているようです。
