2011年9月12日、米国のOCLCとEx Libris社が提携し、同社のディスカバリインタフェースPrimoと横断検索システムMetaLibから、OCLCのWorldCatのコンテンツが検索できるようになると発表されました。この機能は、OCLCが参加館限定で提供しているWorldCat Search APIを使用しており、各館が取得したAPIキーをPrimoやMetaLibに設定することで利用可能になるようです。
