英国のプライバシー保護に関する活動を行っている団体“Privacy International”が、監視産業についてのデータベース“Surveillance Industry Index”を公開しました。発表によると、同団体は過去4年間にわたり監視に関する情報を収集したとのことで、データベースには1,203件のドキュメントが掲載されており、これらには97の監視技術についての情報が詳述されているようです。36か国338社のデータが収録されており、会社名やプロダクト名、プロダクトの種類（インターネットの監視、電話の監視など）等で検索できるようです。
