バチカンの秘密文書館が、2012年2月に同館の開設400周年を記念して行う展示会“Lux in Arcana: The Vatican Secret Archives Revealed”において、これまで非公開としていた文書約100点を展示すると発表したようです。公開される資料には、16世紀のヘンリー8世とキャサリン・オブ・アラゴンとの結婚無効についてのクレメンス7世宛の書簡や、17世紀のガリレオの異端審問記録等が含まれているようです。
