2003年にスイス・ジュネーブで第1回が、2005年にチュニジア・チュニスで第2回が解された世界情報社会サミット（WSIS）の課題について、各国政府がどのような取り組みを行っているかを追跡して紹介する「棚卸し状況レポート（Report on the WSIS Stocktaking）」の2008年版の草案が、国際電気通信連合（ITU）から提示されています。
