ALAが、退職した図書館員をリクルートして「図書館部隊（Library Corps）」をつくり、スタッフが必要だが貧しい図書館を支援する試みを検討しています。現在、この試みの可能性について、提案募集（RFP: Request for Proposal）を受け付けています。
