2013年に刊行された書籍/電子書籍“The Global Librarian”が、2014年7月に無料で公開されていました。

この書籍は、Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO)とNew York Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL/NY)がまとめたもので、革新的なプログラムやサービスについて、米国や各国の図書館員による17のケーススタディが掲載されているものです。
