カリフォルニア大学バークレー校の日系アメリカ人立退・再定住研究のデジタルアーカイブ“Japanese American Evacuation and Resettlement Study Digital Archive”が公開されたと2014年3月4日の同校のブログで紹介されています。2011年8月から2014年3月までのプロジェクトで、10万点近くの資料をデジタル化したもので、テキスト検索のほか、地図から資料をさがすインタフェースも提供しているとのことです。National Park Serviceの支援をうけ、“Japanese American Confinement Sites Grant Program”の一つとして行われたプロジェクトの成果を公開したものとのことです。

日系アメリカ人立退・再定住研究（The Japanese American Evacuation and Resettlement Study：JERS）は1942年からカリフォルニア大学バークレー校で行われてきた、日系アメリカ人の強制移住とシカゴへの再定住についての研究プロジェクトとのことです。コレクションには、日記や現地報告、伝記のほか、調査員によって収集された二次的な研究資料も含まれているとのことです。

資料のデジタル化を担当したBackstage Library Worksも、2014年4月30日にアナウンスを出しています。
