2014年1月8日、米国図書館協会（ALA）のヤングアダルト図書館サービス協会（YALSA）が、博物館・図書館サービス機構（IMLS）より助成を受けて実施している「National Forum on Libraries and Teens」プロジェクトのレポート“The Future of Library Services For and With Teens: A Call to Action”を公表しています。

このレポートは、図書館関係者に行動を起こすことを求めるものとのことです。導入に続き、第2章で図書館や10代向けのサービスのパラダイムシフトをとりあげ、第3章では10代向け図書館サービスのミッションと中核的な価値、第4章ではそのために図書館員が何をすべきであるのかを記述し、第5章が10代向けのサービスを将来に向けて発展させるための提案となっています。
