2012年6月7日に、ベルリン中央・地域図書館が、ナチス政権下に没収されたと考えられる図書20万点以上のデータベースを公開しました。図書の多くはユダヤ人のものとみられ、移住や生活のために売られたものも多いとのことです。同館は、それらの図書を元の持ち主もしくはその法定相続人に返却するため、データベースを活用してほしいとしています。
