2008年6月にドイツのバイエルン州立図書館ミュンヘンデジタル化センターで開催されたブックスキャナーの展示会“Scan-Roboter-Tage（＝Scan-Robot-Days） 2008”に出展した、4digitalbooks、Kirtas、Qidenus、Treventusの4社の製品について、仕様・価格等を比較したレポートが刊行されています。これは英国情報システム合同委員会（JISC）の委託によるものとのことです。なお同館のウェブサイトで、各製品の写真・紹介資料が公開されています。
