2020年11月13日、ドイツのベルリン中央州立図書館（ZLB）は、同館が2020年の「ベルリン・インクルージョン賞（Berliner Inklusionspreis）」を受賞したことを発表しました。
「ベルリン・インクルージョン賞」は重度障害者への職業訓練や雇用において優れた取り組みを行う事業者を、ベルリン州が表彰する制度であり2003年から実施されています。ZLBは中規模事業者のインクルーシブな雇用部門で、2020年の「ベルリン・インクルージョン賞」に選出され、副賞として1万ユーロが授与されています。
ZLBの受賞理由として、重度障害を持つ職員を全職員の約1割に当たる34人雇用し法定要件を大きく上回っている点が、インクルーシブな労働市場の発展に特筆すべき貢献を行っていると評価されたことが挙げられています。
