2020年10月6日、JSTORを運営する米国のITHAKAと英国のJiscが、JSTORにおけるデジタルコレクションの公開に関する協定を締結したことを発表しました。
発表によると、今回の協定により、Jiscに参加する英国の高等教育機関は、JSTORのデジタルコンテンツをオープンアクセスで提供する“Open Community Collections”上で、各機関が保有するデジタル化した特別コレクションをオンライン公開することが可能となりました。
