米・カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校図書館は、同館のウェブサイトに掲載された2020年6月8日付けの記事において、料理に関するデジタルコレクション“American Institute of Wine & Food Culinary Collection”を新たに公開したことを紹介しています。
同館では、1981年に米国ワイン・食品協会（American Institute of Wine & Food：AIWF）から、同協会図書館が所蔵する資料の半数を占める約400冊の寄贈を受けました。その後、同館は継続してコレクション“American Institute of Wine & Food Culinary Collection”の構築を進め、現在7,000冊超の資料を収集しています。
今回、この一部となる90点がオンラインで公開されました。メキシコの料理に関する19世紀初頭の手稿や、カリフォルニアの食文化を反映する資料等が含まれているとあります。
