オーストラリア国立大学チフリー図書館、洪水による浸水被害のため所蔵資料に水損被害が発生

オーストラリア・キャンベラにあるオーストラリア国立大学のチフリー図書館が、洪水による浸水被害により休館しています。

各種報道によると、同館では、各種設備のほか、歴史・哲学・政治学といった分野のマイクロフィルム、書籍、雑誌といった資料に被害が出たようです。また、水損被害を受けた資料については、現在、ページの張り付きをはずして吸水紙を挟む作業や、新刊を購入するか修復作業を行なうかが確定できるまでの間の処置として凍結乾燥の処理が施されているとのことです。
