2016年6月7日、米国西部の研究・大学図書館による冊子体雑誌の共同保管プログラム“Western Regional Storage Trust”（WEST）が、50万冊の雑誌の保管を達成したと発表しています。
保管されている雑誌は、研究図書館センター（CRL）のデータベース“Print Archives Preservation Registry ”(PAPR) やOCLCのWorldCatで確認できます。
