2015年11月5日、Gale社が、Gmail、Classroom、Drive、DocsといったGoogleのツールを同社の製品に導入すると発表しています。
研究者は学校や図書館において、Gale社の製品に対してGoogleアカウントでのログインが可能で、GoogleのGmail、Drive、Docsなどを用いて、コンテンツを保存・共有・ダウンロードすることができるとのことです。
Googleのツールは以下のGale社の製品で使用できるとのことです。
・Research In Context and all In Context resources (excluding Global Issues In Context)
・Infotrac including Powersearch
・GVRL
・Contemporary Authors Online
・LitFinder
・MLA International Bibliography
・Book Review Index Plus
・Literature Resource Center
・Kids InfoBits (coming this winter)
また、利用者は、所属機関が購入している同社の製品に、無料でダウンロード可能なChromeアプリを介してアクセスできるとのことです。
