米国デジタル公共図書館（DPLA）では、Public Library Partnerships Project（PLPP）を通じ、DPLAのサービスハブと共同で、公共図書館員のデジタル技術の研修を、 Digital Commonwealth,、Digital Library of Georgia、Minnesota Digital Library、Montana Memory Project、Mountain West Digital Libraryのトレーナーと連携して行なってきたとのことです。
今回、このプロジェクトの終了にあたって、様々な文化遺産機関のデジタル化業務の初心者向けに、この研修のセルフガイドを公開したとのことです。
各々の科目は、動画、注釈つきのパワーポイント資料、スライドのpdf版から構成されていて、自由に共有、再利用、翻案してよいとのことです。
