英国の図書館・情報専門家協会（CILIP）が、2014年の「人生を変える図書館賞」（Libraries Change Lives Award）の授賞対象プロジェクトが発表されています。最終選考に残った3件のうち、ノーサンプトンシャーの「Enterprise Hubs」が選ばれたとのことです。
このプロジェクトは、創業等を支援するもので、Northamptonshire Library and Information Serviceの図書館員が、Northamptonshire Local Enterprise Partnershipとの共同により構築したものとのことです。2012年の開始以来900人以上の人を支援してきており、これは、同地域のスタートアップの10％を占めていたそうです。
