2014年6月20日、米国議会図書館（LC）がPinterestに公式アカウントを開設したことを発表しました。LCのThomas Jefferson Buildingの画像や2001年から毎年開催されている全米ブックフェスティバル（National Book Festival）のポスター等がボードでまとめられています。新しいボードやコンテンツは定期的に追加されていくとのことです。
