2014年1月16日、家系図情報を提供するAncestry.comが、1866年から1948年の、ニューヨーク市の出生記録、婚姻記録、出生記録を検索可能にしたことを発表しています。これはニューヨーク市（New York City Municipal Archives）との協力により実現したもので、今回検索可能になった記録の件数は1,000万件以上にのぼるようです。
