2012年3月8日に、英国のBBC Radio 4が、英国図書館（BL）やBBC Local Radio等とともに、“Listening Project”という新たなプロジェクトを開始したようです。このプロジェクトは、英国の人々の日常の会話をBBCで放送するとともに、その音声記録をオーラルヒストリーアーカイブとしてBLが保存するというもののようです。会話の内容は参加者が自由に選択でき、参加にあたっては、参加者自身がListening Projectのウェブサイトに会話を登録するようです。
