オープンソースの図書館システム“Evergreen”が5周年を迎えました。ファーストユーザである米ジョージア州の公共図書館コンソーシアムPINESがEvergreenを導入したのが2006年9月6日だったそうです。現在の導入館は1,006を数えています。Evergreenのサイトやブログによると、これまでに、米国、カナダ、オーストラリア、グルジア共和国（“United Georgian Catalog”）で採用されており、2012年には欧州の少なくとも3か国で導入される予定とのことです。
