OCLCは、米国の大学図書館などによる共同デジタルリポジトリ“HathiTrust”と提携し、HathiTrustに収録されているコンテンツをWorldCat.orgやWorldCat Localで全文検索できるようにしていく予定だと発表しました。2008年にスタートしたHathiTrustは、現在では60以上の機関が参加し、950万点以上のコンテンツが収録されているそうです。
