ソーシャルブックサイト”LibraryThing”の株式をProQuestグループ（Serials Solutions社、RefWorks社など）やBowker社を傘下にもつCambridge Information Group (CIG) が取得したと発表しています。
今回の提携により、図書館OPAC向け機能”LibraryThing for Libraries”をBowker社を通して販売することや、LibraryThingの新しい機能開発にCIGから資金提供されること、AquaBrowserとLibraryThingの機能連携などが進むとのことです。
