英国の情報システム合同委員会（JISC）と米国の全米人文基金（NEH）とが今年から創設した大西洋横断（transatlantic）デジタル化共同基金の助成を経て、英国オックスフォード大学ボドリヤン図書館と米国フォルガー・シェークスピア図書館（実業家フォルガー氏の寄付による研究／教育図書館）とが協同して、1641年以前に刊行されたシェークスピアの全戯曲75点を2008年4月から1年間でデジタル化し、無料公開すると両館から発表されました。
