2019年8月29日、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）は、2021年の世界図書館情報会議（WLIC）・IFLA年次大会をオランダ・ロッテルダムで開催すると発表しました。
ギリシャ・アテネで開催されていた2019年大会のクロージングセッションにおいて発表されたもので、2021年8月19日から8月26日にかけて開催される予定です。
