カナダ国立図書館・文書館（LAC）は、第一次世界大戦のカナダ海外派遣軍（CEF）の人事ファイルをデジタル化し、データベース“Soldiers of the First World War: 1914～1918”を通じてオンラインで公開する作業を継続して行なっていますが、2016年8月15日、公開分が、全64万ファイルの内、過半数（32万638ファイル）に到達したと発表しています。
